Berlin, day two.

Day two in Berlin, so today Lea and I had a little sleep in and then she wanted to show me the markets so we jumped on the tram and headed to this sweet little park. As we arrived it was swarmed with people, it was a very cultural vintage market with a band playing outside, homemade cute food stools and plenty of little stands to buy everything you could ever think of. We found some little gems, handmade bags, headbands, number plates etc things that will last a lifetime. Before we headed into the rest of the markets we needed to eat and did we eat amazingly YES, I had a veggie panni with a hot coffee and Lea got some amazing Turkish breakfast. We spent a good few hours in this place as we just got carried away, while Tom stayed at the flat to pack our things in the car. Then Lea and I met up with Tom and a few of his friends for lunch in this cheap resturant but served the yummiest food and a lot of it. On our way home Lea and Tom made a detour in which I wasn't aloud to know about, appenetly it was just a few miles not to far from our route, however Tom got to excited with the music and missed the turning and then the next turning to get us back on route. Eventually we got there and it was so beautiful it was a huge historic park with magical castles I was taken back, It was so lovely such an awesome stop. After a hour there we hit the road again for the long trip home, it was election day to in Germany so every once in a while we had to listen to the radio and call their mothers to get an update. The election is a really big deal even in the younger generations which is amazing.
I loved every second of Berlin, I feel in love with the free spirit of the city being able to drink in parks, walk around all day, drinking, eating and the people.
Thank you Berlin.
