newport beach

On Sunday; we had a day off and we had stayed in Huntington and Jimmy had been telling us about a place with tide pools were you could see all kinds of different sea life. So we took a trip down there, I have always loved the beach. American beaches are of a different kind, the sand is crystal clear and the water is warm and you can actually see your feet. We arrived and we parked down a road where the houses over looked this magical beach, they were huge, the houses were built like multi million dollars mansions. We climbed on the rocks to get to the pools, it reminded me off the beginning scene of Grease, it was sharp but worth it, we saw starfish and other animals that i don't know. The sun was shinning off of the sea and glistering, we raced to and from the sea like little children. The best bit of the day was as we arrived at the beach there was a group of young adults laying around, eating food and playing music, it took me back and was just so relaxing. This is why i love AMERICA.

another outreach day!

so today was the second week of outreach. It was so much fun at the homeless shelter, the kids were so much more into it. they really enjoyed it and there was a who is like 6 and super week his literally like Bob the builder he looks exactly like him! and i didn't get to see him at the beginning but as we were dancing he said to the young american he was working with, that he wants to find the girl he was working with last week. He came running up to me and we danced witch doctor together! it was so awesome my heart melted. it was so sad to think i just wonder how much shit she has had to go through at such a young age and the same with all the other children you look at their faces and they have smiles but you look deep into their eyes and its so hard. They work so hard its. We then had to showed the girls 'girls just want to have fun' dance and some of them were really nervous and really didn't want to join in, we had to whip our hair and one of the girls said ' i dont like my hair' and refused to do it, but by the end she was whipping her hair like Willow Smith. Sam who was showing it asked them all like what they did for fun and how they could use that in the dance and every girl just replied with ' we don't, we don't do anything for fun' This literally broke my heart, I just can't get over this, these kids have so much love and so much hope for their future and they and others just don't see it. Which is why i feel so blessed to do this and that their boy and girls club exists, at least it gives them a stable relationships with the staff. I am so excited to go back!

We then went to Rio the prison center, and they were so excited to see us. It was wonderful just like last week i loved it! so much! we had a new girl who had a loud personalty but was all for taking part. However all them got it learn't so fast and just took part and didn't care, they boys were like loud and in your faces today like shouting and jumping around! i got to see how people have affect on others. The place is beautiful and seems like the perfect place for young adults.it's lovely. Again as we leave i ask the girls if they had a good time and enjoyed and they all had beaming smiles and where like YES! i loved it, even the boys. oh my it brings my heart so much happiness! blah i love it! i can't wait to get to know them so much more!

On our way home we wanted to find somewhere to eat, we have the best car. the party car, best music and best company its such a joy. well that was untill we took a wrong turn off the freeway! and literally ended up in this town in the middle of the mountains, it was a literally so beautiful. it was like a rural town well basically a street surrounded by trees, rivers and mountains. After like 4 hours we got home. its hard to compare them to home.  the views i have seen just driving up the freeway, holy cow they are just breath taking. i feel so blessed to be living in the country at the moment just being able to see and experience some of the things i get to. i feel so honored.
