day 3; guinness factory

this was the last and final day and to be totally honset i was no where near ready to go, my heart has totally fallen for ireland with all it's beauty. So my dad has been to ireland at least 5 times and never done the guinness storehouse. As a massive guinness lover and drinker both of us very much wanted to go there so off we headed.

It is huge. i literally followed it the whole way round completely amazed but how it's made, it's history and where it is drank and where it is. It made me love it even more. my dad and i walked around every floor. On the 5th i learnt how to pour my own drink, in which will indeed becoming in useful and then i went to the gravity and i meet this really cute and awesome guy called tom who was like 'oh wow your english. what you doing in ireland' i explained and the next thing i know i had a lady on the mic telling everyone it was my 18th and a group of men cheered and then everyone i mean everyone sang happy birthday to me. I had a little tear in my eye because i had all these people actually singing because if your from england you know only about 4 people sing when your in public for your birthday i was blessed, oh and it helped the boy behind the bar was incredibly cute. ;)

I maybe a lady but i LOVE GUINNESS!!

beautiful ireland mornings

every morning while i was in ireland i got to get up and look out to this magnificent view. Next time i go to ireland i hope to go to the green fields and look they are so beautiful. I love waking up to the sun coming in the room so therefore i don't use curtains. So i just opened my eyes and look upon this. It made everything better.

take me back...

day 2; birthday morning

So birthday morning my daddy didn't have a cake so when he ran to the shops to get me a lemsip he came back with a little case of small cakes with candles on. He could only light one due to the smoke alarm and i can't even eat these kind of cakes but its the thought that counts any way. I had tea and lemsips! :) yum. and opened some presents, catch up with news and headed to dublin.

Dublin Ink

Having always love tattoos and piercings it was only a matter of time once i turned 18 that i was going to get some. When i was growing up my dad was never really a fan of them but as it started to become more socially acceptable (if thats the right term) they grew on him; he in

fact took me to have mine done. I have always wanted a poppy like the remembrance day once for my grandad, he loves the idea and i want a little bird that he draw when i was younger and are infact the only thing i can draw. But i thought it would be a good idea to start small and work up.

So i was in ireland, dublin, it was my 18th birthday, i am irish so it seemed normally to find the nearest tattoo place and have one done. So i had heard about Dublin inkk Ink through google of course and thought its down the road lets go.

I walked in not knowing what size i wanted it, where i wanted it and nervous because i hate not knowing what to do.

I walked in there and literally welcomed with open arms, they were super friendly, had the answers to all my questions and didn' make me feel like this little english girl who has no idea what she is doing.
The place itself is along side this street which always seems to be packed and the businesses always seems to have people running through its doors, i watched people as they left and they all had smiles on their faces; so that means job well done right!

The place is unique, professional, upbeat, friendly and thoughtful. You know when your growing up and you say 'when i grow up i want to have a job thats is what i love doing, with great people and able to have fun and every day be different' well thats it, dublin ink is just that. its amazing its anyone ideal job. But these guys and girls are very very talented in what they do, its awesome!

So i went in and they managed to put me in at half 4 so off i popped to the pub with my dad to by him a few drinks and to pass the time! so i went back, and there you go done, picture was already on my ankle! i really am happy with my tattoo, i love it so much. I know have this things that if some place it perfect i will only have things done their and my dad has noticed that i now will only have my tattoos done there. this mean another trip to ireland.

I was alittle nervous but when your in a shop having a tattoo done and surround by men covered tattoos you just have to man up and not look like a wimp.

I highly recommend Dublin Ink to anyone in the world, i can not fault the place and it 100% made my birthday awesome.

day 2; the famine and dublin castle

On day two along the liffey there are the monuments of significant people who have been adapted to show the effects of the famine. These monuments are scary but interesting and i learnt alot just my reading and looking at them.

While my dad and i looked around Dublin Castle we came across all of these sand buildings that were being made then and there and it was fascinating, kind of like the ice things they make but with sand and here are the finished pieces.
