love beats cancer

everytime i watch my sisters keeper it reminds of the struggle of watching my friend fight a brain tumor at the age of 13. already having a torrance of watching people fight this god damn disease; this the thought of it just fills me with fighting power. however it brings me in a full circle of how cancer throws pretty much everything into the air and brings everyone together. thats the funny thing; i only noticed today that from something so nasty can fill that gap in my heart. i remember that at a time of such pain, misunderstanding, childhood and unknown outcomes that we as family, friends came together to build a unit no one could break down. we took upon the roles we didnt think twice about, we held onto the strengths of the 13 years of friendship we had required and we’d beat this fucker with every single bone in our bodies. we came together we went from close friends to a family. samantha took that fight to end and she continues to rally up the strength in all of us to carry on. the love that was shared throughout the fight will stay with us forever. for she taught us that love can fight anything.
